The Missouri Business Institute provides real-world understanding and business skills to students whose interest and passion isn't in the business school.

The 3-week intensive business program is designed to distinguish non-business majors in the eyes of employers by focusing on the core areas of a business curriculum:

• Learn how to effectively manage and lead others
• Discover the role of advertising and marketing in predicting consumer behavior
• Gain an understanding of financial markets and investment strategies
• Understand basic accounting information and reports

Student will also have an advantage over peers in the job market through:

• Full access to the Robert J. Trulaske, Sr. College of Business Career Services

The Missouri Business Institute is open to all junior and senior non-business majors.
The initial Missouri Business Insitute class will be offered in May 17 - June 4,2010. The class will be limited to 50 students and the cost of $2,450 will cover all books, daily lunches, special programs and three dinners including an etiquette dinner. Students registering by February 15, 2010 will receive a discount of $200.
