Ernst & Young Mentors

The Ernst and Young Accounting Excellence Mentor Program provides support to newly admitted students to the 150-Hour Program. Some juniors feel intimidated by the rigor of the junior courses or experience difficulties with their performance in one or more courses, and this program is designed to help those students.

Ernst and Young Accounting Excellence Mentors are available to answer questions concerning completion of a "Practice Set" which is required of all students enrolled in Acct. 3326.  The mentors are also available to meet with newly admitted students in one-on-one meetings. The Mentors are available to discuss academic issues such as how to budget time, which courses tend to be more difficult, and how to study for exams. The Mentors are also available to discuss other issues such as advice on choosing your specialty area, gaining internships, getting adjusted to MU as a transfer student, or any other issues in which a senior accounting student may provide advice. If you would like to have a Mentor contact you, please see Phyllis Moore, Director of 150-Hour & Master of Accountancy Program, or call her at 573-882-4463.
